Make it Monday: Focus Stacking

Last Friday, we looked at the works of Felix Hernandez Rodriguez - a photographer from Cancun, Mexico who specializes in photographing objects both small and large. You could say that some of his work involves the use of a macro lens... but there's something slightly different.  Rodriguez has said that he uses a technique called "Focus Stacking" for his work.  What does that mean?

In short, it's a method used by macro photographers where s/he shoots multiple images - each image focusing on a different depth - and blends them together in Photoshop.
