Website Wednesday: Newborn Photography

Newborn Photography has become very popular within the last five years and has also become a very competitive field.  In attempts to promote this booming industry to the public, photographers Keri Meyers and Jennifer Blakeley founded a new online community in 2012 called "NewbornPhotography.com".  Not only did Meyers and Blakeley want to promote this genre but they also wanted to create an online space where photographers could share their ideas and inspiration with one another.

By becoming involved in this community, photographers are able to participate in image critiques, live chats with other members and to have access to a "bank" of inspiration to help him/her with future shoots.  By linking up with NewbornPhotography.com, photographers also agree to live up to the same standards that the community upholds.  It's the perfect place for professional newborn photographers to come together for inspiration and to allow his/her own community to grow.  The community officially launched on March 6, 2013; check out the video below to learn more about how you can get involved as a photographer:
