Make it Monday: Landscapes & Sharp Focus - Part I

Have you ever had a professor squint at your photo and say, "Your image is slightly out of focus"?  Then s/he reminds you that you should always double check your manual settings to ensure that your images are in sharp focus.  Or if manual setting really does not work for you, said professor reminds you to double check the type of "autofocus modes"?  (Yes) Well, you are not alone.  We have all heard this at some point in our career.  This is the first post out of many that will show you different methods you can try to better focus your images.  In the video below, Joshua Cripps discusses how to ensure that your Landscape Photographs are in sharp focus from the foreground all the way to the background:
