Make it Monday: Autofocus Point Options

Welcome to Make it Monday!

All of us have made this mistake before as photographers: placing your camera on auto focus and thinking that the camera will actually put the exact object that you want in sharp focus.  If you're not concerned with how depth of field will effect your photograph, auto focus is not a bad option although, wouldn't you still like to have more control when using auto focus?

There are a few different types of autofocus points found in your DSLR camera.  If you want your camera to decide where to focus, you would choose the "Auto Area AF"; if you want to choose an exact point to focus on, you would choose the "Single-point AF(51 points)".  Take a peak at the chart below to see what type of autofocus point would be best for you for your next upcoming shoot!
