Make it Monday: How to Photograph Artwork

Welcome to Make it Monday!

As a photographer, you might have a client who wants you to take pictures of their work; perhaps a painting, drawing, sculpture or a similar medium.  There are many ways to tackle a photo shoot such as this although I'd like to share a tutorial with you created by Saatchi Gallery and hosted by Tyler Stalman.  

There is a lot of great advice offered within this video about what type of lighting to use as well as how to handle the background.  That being said, please note that the camera being used within this video tutorial is a point and shoot (waaah-wah) - I would recommend shooting your photographs of someone's artwork with your DSLR!
