Website Wednesday: What Clients Want

When a potential client visits to your website, you can bet that s/he will judge your page (harshly) within one split second.  Sounds rough, eh?  Well, it's the truth.  Now that you know the truth, the fun can begin: changing your site around so it visually entices a potential client to browse longer.  The longer s/he browses, the more likely it will be that they book a shoot or order some prints.  Paul Jarvis wrote a fantastic article, which was published on PetaPixel, in regards to some key aspects to include on your site.

"Is the first thing someone reads on any page on your website enough to draw them in deeper? Are you using language that speaks to them and their motivations, or are you just talking about yourself and your product/services? If they come to your sales page without even hitting the homepage first, does everything still make sense?" (Jarvis, PetaPixel).  Click "here" to read more.
