Website Wednesday: MailChimp

When running a freelance photography business, you will want to send out e-mails to many clients (or potential clients) at once.  It is important to use a software that allows you to do this such as "MailChimp".  Avoid the tedious task of typing everyone's e-mail addresses in the "TO", "CC" or "BCC" sections from now on!  Another great feature of MailChimp is that it allows your clients to unsubscribe.  It is always important to allow a client to opt out of an e-mail chain so they do not become annoyed with messages but more importantly, so you can narrow down your target market.

There are three different subscriptions you can sign up for: Entrepreneur, Growing Business, and High Volume Sender.  The first option is free and you can send up to 12,000 e-mails to 2,000 followers.  For details on pricing related to the other two options, click "here".   MailChimp also offers many different resources for getting the best results from your mass e-mails: guides, research, etc; click "here" for details.
