Make It Monday: Lighting Trivia

Welcome to "Make It Monday"!

This "Make It Monday", we're going to take a slightly different approach than we have in the past.  Typically, this is a day where I teach you how to make something that relates to a course or how to ensure that you gain the most points for an assignment.  Today however, we are going to play a little game of trivia.  Here are the following questions that I would like you to consider:
  • What type of light bulb will give off a cool color temperature?
  • What type of light bulb will give off a warm color temperature?
  • True or False: In order to create a successful image in terms of lighting, you need to use a large light source.
  • In Corey Woodruff's image above, how many different light sources do you think he is using in this image?  What is the best way to control the color temperature within the photo?  You can see more of Woodruff's images if you click on the link below:
  • What are a few "must have items" that you keep in your lighting kit bag?
All of these questions popped up for me after I read a fantastic article - or shall I say - fantastic articles (plural) - published on DigitalPhotoPro.com.  To look for the answers to the questions posed above, please click on the link below:
