Website Wednesday: DigitalRevTV

Welcome to "Website Wednesday"!

Last Monday, we looked at a few tutorials created by Ed Verosky that were uploaded onto YouTube.com.  Today, we are going to start to look a little deeper into the world of YouTube.com and see how this amazing website can benefit you.  To be more specific, we're going to look at a YouTube Channel called DigitalRevTV

What is a YouTube Channel exactly?  Similar to the channels on your TV at home, YouTube also has channels, which are basically a "home page" for a specific account.  The YouTube channel home page will show the account name as well as the videos uploaded by the account.  The channels can be customized in order to suit the particular account.  Many photography companies, programs, agencies, and individuals all have their own YouTube.com channel for you to access for free information!

DigitalRevTv is a YouTube Channel that is dedicated to reviewing new cameras, lenses, flashes, software, etc.  If you have a specific question about a piece of equipment, this is the place to look!  Here is a peak at the top portion of this particular YouTube Channel. We can see a picture of the host of DigitalRevTV, Kai Wong and this show is currently on Season 4.  To the right, we can see all of the other types of social media that this particular channel is connected to:

Let's take a peak at two different videos that were put out by DigitalRevTV titled Nikon D90 vs. Canon 550D Durability Test: Part 1 and Part 2.  In these two videos our host, Kai Wong, finds out which camera is more durable:

DigitalRevTV covers all sorts of topics!  Be sure to subscribe to this video channel as it will help you later down the line when you're looking for information regarding equipment. Click here to access DigitalRevTV's YouTube Channel.

I'll see you next for "Pho·Tog Friday"!
