Website Wednesday: NPPA Job Bank - Photography Jobs (Part III)

If you're interested in working as a photojournalist, the National Press Photographer's Association (NPPA), is the website for you to check out.  "The NPAA is the leading voice advocating for the work of visual journalists today...Our advocacy efforts put NPPA in the center of today’s thorniest issues of journalists’ rights to do their work — and to earn a living from their craft." (web) This organization provides a sense of community for photographers, hosts photo competitions, and most importantly, provides a Job Bank for one to find work.  In order to view the jobs that are posted, you have to become a member of the NPPA.  For students, this fee is $65/year. Along with being able to view the job bank, you also receive a slew of benefits; click "here" for details.
