Pho·tog Friday: Mike Berg - Student Work

Happy Friday to everyone! To help "kick off" the weekend, I wanted to highlight some of the images shot by one of my latest "PH430: Photography Portfolio" students, Mike Berg! In this class, the main goal for the Bachelors students is to learn how to create a portfolio focusing on one sub-genre.  Mike chose to focus on interior and exterior architecture (real estate) for his portfolio. It's important to keep in mind that a portfolio class requires a lot of hard work - perhaps more so than the courses taken previously by students.  Along with creating a strong portfolio, students also create a physical portfolio - a binder with 11x14 prints, build their resume, artist statement, and learn how to enhance their branding to increase marketability of their photography skills.
