Website Wednesday: MediaStorm

Do you enjoy taking awesome still photographs?  Could you enjoy taking awesome still images and shooting video?  If so, how about combining those two mediums?  Or shooting only video with your DSLR camera to create an HD video?  The moving picture has become "a must" for those photographers who are "out and about" looking for a job, particularly in the photojournalism and documentary fields.  A still photographer may find him/herself in a position where the employer not only wants them to shoot still photographs but also video.  Those photographer who work in both mediums typically end up deriving their inspiration or learning the required skills from production studios, such as Media Storm.

Founded by Brian Storm in the fall of 2005, MediaStorm is a film production and interactive design studio based out of New York City.  MediaStorm offers a number of online training courses through their website on various topics from how to collect data, interviews and get the shots while work in the field to the post-production skills you will need to edit a complete video.  MediaStorm also offers many different workshops to take in person!
