Make it Monday: Photoshop + Wet Plate

For the past few days, I've been writing about the Wet Plate Collodion Process and the contemporary photographers who continue to capture images using this method.  Perhaps you're interested in this process but am not full committed to purchasing all the necessary equipment or are unwilling to work with anything other than a digital camera.  Let me be the first to say, "that's okay!" I'd like to share an interesting article that I came across on PetaPixel a few weeks back titled, "How to Make a Portrait Look Like Wet Plate Collodion Using Photoshop"
Karppine, Antti, Before After, ND.

"Retoucher Antti Karppinen is starting a new YouTube channel called Alias Academy, and his first video tutorial is on how he recreates the look of wet plate using Photoshop"... "I really like the look and feel of these kind of images,” Karppinen writes. “For me the basic photograph is the starting point and I try to capture people as they are. Then I go ahead and try to create something more, and for this series I have tried to capture bit more of that old feel to the images.”
