Make it Monday: Student Logo

This week is student appreciation week! Or at least... as far as my blog is concerned, it's student appreciation week.  To kick this off, I'd like to share an amazing logo belonging to one of our recent Associate graduates, Rosalinda Guzman!  She completed AIPOD's program last week and her branding ideas for our PHOA209 class were fantastic!  As a child portrait photographer, you can quickly understand why her logo, pictured left, works so well for her freelance business!  Creating a logo for a business can be a daunting task!  In many cases, photographers may have a graphic design company create a logo for them, which there is no harm in!

In many cases, a logo is the first thing that a potential client will see!  Still not convinced as to why a logo is so important, click "here" to read more.  Check out a few tips on how to create a logo, click "here".  Regardless of which program you're enrolled in at AIPOD, whether it's the Certificate, the Associates, or the Bachelor's program, you'll need a logo for your website, blog, portfolio, and any other promotional materials you may create.  You'll learn more about this in your portfolio courses.  One of the goals of these classes - alongside building a strong portfolio of images - is to establish your own unique brand for your freelance business.
