Website Wednesday: Food Photography

If you have ever tried to photograph a gorgeous plate of food in the studio, chances are good that you may have encountered a few "bumps" along the way.  There are endless secrets to photographing food to make it look appetizing.  A great online resource that I would like to recommend for tricks of the "food photography trade" is the "Learn Food Photography" website.  The tab titled "Food Styling" has a lot of useful information on how to stylize your shoot.  Similar to how a photographer stylizes a model or portrait shoot, photographers also stylize food!

This information can be found under the "Food Photography" tab.  One of the more recent articles was written about how to start a food photography business.  There are also articles written about how to ensure that your food is in sharp focus, which although it sounds easy enough - it can actually be a challenge.  One of my favorite articles on this site can actually be found under the "Lighting" tab, titled "Ten Simple Lighting Tips for Stunning Food Photos":

Be sure to check out the additional information listed on "www.LearnFOODPhotography.com"!
