Website Wednesday: Artifact Uprising

It's extremely important for photographers to create unique promotional products for his/her clients.  One of my favorite websites to check out that helps with this feat of ordering promo materials is called "Artifact Uprising".  This company is based out of Colorado and produces products made from recycled materials.

Artifact Uprising not only prints photographs, but they also print hard and soft cover photo books, Instagram friendly photo books, wood calendars, wooden boxes, wood block + prints, square print sets and postcard packs.  When ordering any promotional material, you want to choose the products that work best for your brand.  The last thing a photographer needs to do is to order products that will sit on a shelf and not be used.

In a world where there are so many different options, it's wise to really narrow down what type of promotional materials are needed.  For example, how many of your clients would use a calendar attached to a wooden clipboard?  Perhaps some of your clients... perhaps all of your clients.  The decision of what promotional product(s) to order is a personal one made only by the photographer.  Personally, when I order promotional items, I like to only have my "Fiander Foto" logo printed on them.   This ensures that I can use the items for not only my "wedding" clients but also my "event", "family" and any other "type" of client I photograph.  And... Naturally... There's also a handy dandy app that you can use to create and order any promotional materials you like:
