I'm based outside of the Washington
D.C. area, where I run a small freelance business, Fiander Foto. My work specializes in commercial, documentary and portraiture
photography. Although these genres may seem different,
the key element that holds them all together is the human subject. I believe photography is a
collaborative effort between both the artist and the subject; the two go hand
in hand. During this lecture, I'll be sharing my freelance work and the different methods I use to photograph my subjects!
