In continuing with our Pho·tog Friday series on Bunny Yeager, let's check out her photographic career post shooting "pin-up photographs". (Part I of this series, click "here"; Part II of this series, click "here".) Yeager continued to publish books of her images that she shot during the 1950s and 1960s. The work that she had shot during these two decades was described as "ubiquitous in that era". Her work was published in Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Redbook, Woman's Wear Daily, and Pageant. In 1962, she took the infamous still photograph of actress Ursula Andress on the set of the James Bond film, Dr. No:

In
the 1970s, the magazines and publications that Yeager was shooting for
wanted her to photograph her female subjects in a manner which Yeager
describes, "They had girls showing more than they should" and "was something (she) wasn't prepared to do".
Yeager's career caught the eye of the fine art world. In the early 1990s, Yeager had a solo show at Center for Visual Communication in Florida titled "Beach Babes Bash". The images obviously featured her work shot during the 1950s of women on the beach. "The gallery was filled with sand, beach balls, and period music for the show". She had another exhibition at the same gallery titled "Sex Sirens of the Sixties". In 1992, Playboy featured many of her images taken of Bettie Page in the 1950s; titled "The Bettie Boom". It's fair to say that Yeager's images of the female figure allowed women to be confident with their features, which was taboo during that time.

The Andy Warhol Museum featured Yeager's self-portraits in her first major exhibition in 2010. The title of the exhibition was "The Legendary Queen of Pin-up". Some of the images Yeager shown were from her book titled, How I Photograph Myself. Trained as a model, Yeager knew a lot about how to pose herself and how to direct models she worked with. "The Fabulous Bunny Yeager" an exhibit in 2011 at the Harold Golen Gallery in Miami" also featured self-portraits of Yeager that had not been seen by the public before.
