Make it Monday: Student Work - Scott Kittredge

Scott Kittredge, one of my students from "PHOA202: Studio", displayed a strong understanding of how to create a lighting scheme that displays "Bright Field Lighting".   This is also known as Black Line Lighting.  For Scott's W4A2, he and his classmates were asked to shoot an image depicting water being poured into a glass. Furthermore, they were asked to incorporate food and a metallic object into the composition.  Below is one of Scott's top photographs from this assignment. After looking at the image, what are your thoughts behind Scott's "Bright Field Lighting" scheme?  How was he able to achieve a black line around the bottle and the wine glass?
