Pho·tog Friday: Vivian Maier (Part V)

The infamous Vivian Maier is certainly known for the images that she took in the streets of New York City as well as in Chicago.  However, Maier did travel outside of the United States on multiple occasions throughout her life, mainly to visit relatives and friends in France.  Maier also took a trip around the world between 1959 and 1960; It's speculated that this adventure was funded by the sale of her family farm in Saint-Julien-en-Champsaur, France. Although, her travels outside of the States extends beyond those years:

The majority of Maier's work that we have access to was shot with black and white film however, stay tuned for final portion of this Pho·tog Friday Series when we learn about Maier's color imagery!
