Website Wednesday: Pictage

As a photographer, there are many different ways to deliver the actual photographs to your clients.  Depending on a number of factors, you might choose to deliver your photos as: high or low resolution files, prints, books, albums, nick-knacks... I would like to share my favorite method of delivering my photos to my clients: Pictage.com.

Pictage offers a complete solution for the professional photographer.  You can upload your images and sell them in a secure online gallery.  Your clients have the option to purchase press prints, digital files, printed books, custom albums, wall art, cards, proof products and more within their gallery!  Clients also have the option to purchase gift certificates or to extend the access time that they have to their online galleries.  Below is an example of how one of my galleries looks to the client when they first visit the page and how all the images are viewed:

Your logo is clearly displayed in the upper left hand corner of the online gallery, which acts as a hyperlink to your website.  By joining Pictage, you will have more time to spend taking photographs verses worrying about printing them.  There are a few different plans that Pictage offers to suit different types of businesses:

The Starter: $29/mo
The Premium: $49/mo
The Pro: $99/mo

All of the plans include unlimited upload and storage space.  Pictage offers training webinars on how to manage your account.  Pictage has an excellent Customer Service line that can be reached Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm Pacific Time.  For more information on how to join Pictage.com, please click "here".
