Website Wednesday: AiPOD Library & Research - Free Webinars



This is a great opportunity for all students and faculty members who want to learn more about The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division's Library! The following live online workshops are available in February.  These workshops are hosted by The Art Institutes Online Librarians and are approximately 45-60 minutes in length.  Note: Users must register prior to the workshop.  Registration is simple: click on the link under the title of the workshop you wish to attend and follow the prompts.  Attendees at the live workshops may request a certificate of completion.

 Finding Biographies ~ Saturday, 2/7 @ 2 PM ET (11 AM PT)
Learn how to use the online library resources to find biographies. Biography Reference Center, Hoover’s Academic, Literati by Credo, and EBSCOhost databases will be demonstrated to show you how to find biographical information in each of these library resources.

Learn to design a PowerPoint presentation rapidly and easily. This session is for beginners and will cover the basics including: preparing an outline, positioning text and images, navigating, applying a template, organizing slide content using layouts, printing, and getting ready to give your presentation.
