Pho·tog Friday: Michael Paul Smith (Part II)

Last week we kicked off a new Pho·tog Friday series on photographer Michael Paul Smith.  A pop question was posted in "Part I" relating to the year when Smith's North Main Street - Elgin Park was taken.  The props used in that photograph are key because they make Smith's images seem as though they are taken during the 1930s, however he shot North Main Street - Elgin Park in the summer of 2013!  Speaking of props... let's take a look at the photographs below:

I'd like to give you a little challenge over the weekend.  Conduct a little bit of research on Michael Paul Smith in terms of his use of props.  The best resource to check out is Smith's why is "craft" so important to the success of Smith?  The term "craft" can refer to his props, his lighting, his editing technique - or all of the above!  Feel free to posts your responses below!
