We are pleased to announce our next live photography lecture: fashion and beauty photographer, Mimi Huynh of Xang Photography!  Huynh is a photographer based out of the Washington D.C. and her work has been featured in magazines such as Vogue UK, FaceON Magazine, Elle UK, Elements Magazine, Hitched and D.C.’s famous blog, Raw Natural Born Artists.  Her freelance business, Xang Photography, creates stunning images that run a fine line between conceptual and commercial.   With a knack for shooting on location, Huynh has traveled up and down the East Coast to photograph many different models.  Her unique branding for Xang Photography is recognizable and thus, memorable to clients.

As a graduate of Maryland College of Art and Design’s MFA program, Huynh has also taught at George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College.  Huynh believes that by sharing her knowledge of her photography business at the college level allows for her students to develop their own eye, style, and a sense of branding.  Both an advocate for freelance work and higher education, Huynh’s lecture is one you will not want to miss!

After attending Huynh's lecture, be sure to submit your confirmation e-mail to your professor for extra credit!
