Make it Monday: Home Improvements - Organizational Tools (Part III)

To conclude our Make it Monday series on what I've dubbed as "Home Improvements", I would like to share a fantastic article published on PetaPixel titled, "15 Free Organizational Tools".  Within this particular article, you'll find different websites and applications that will help you sort out things such as income, outcome, expenses, storage space, social media posts, to-do lists, schedules, due dates, etc.   The fact of the matter is that if you want to be a strong photographer, you must have a strong workflow, which stems from being organized.  Before checking out the article, consider only choosing a few of these tools to use and to choose the one that works best for you.  Trying to use too many online organizational tools will ultimately end up in confusion!

One of my favorite tools to use from this list is called "Buffer".  This is a great resource to use when posting updates to your social media sites.  "Buffer was creating to change the way you use social media by letting you automate tasks and schedule posts for Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn… and it’s completely free for personal use! You can even see the analytics of your posts (how many people clicked or retweeted them)" (Young, PetaPixel).

Be sure to read the article (link above); the following tools are discussed: Acuity Scheduling, Defrozo, IFTTT, Chime, Pixiest, WorkFlowy, Google Docs, Evernote, Mynd Calendar, Boomerang for Gmail, MailChimp, Dropbox, PhotoBucket, and Pocket
