Website Wednesday: Golden Hour

We have all heard it before: your classmate or an instructor says, "This is nice... but... I think this image would have been stronger in terms of lighting if you shot it during the golden hour.  So when the heck is the Golden Hour?  The Golden Hour is also referred to as the Magic Hour and pertains to the first and last hours of light in any given day.  Luckily, there's a website called "Golden-Hour.com" where you can easily calculate the sun's position for your exact location!

This light during this type is typically "golden" in color, hence the name, and provides nice soft lighting.  And...naturally... like any good program, there's also an app for "Golden-Hour.com"; currently available for iPads and iPhones.
